TotalVise new gunsmithing vises for stocks, barrels and more

Exploring the Versatility of Total Vise:

As a shooter and competitor, I've been using the Howard's Vice for years, but recently, I've had the opportunity to explore some exciting new tools from Total Vise, a company known for its innovative and versatile work holding solutions. I'll take you on a journey through the various options I've been testing, each with its own unique features and benefits.

The Quick Docking Station:

One of the first items I was introduced to was the Quick Docking Station. This simple yet effective tool holder allows you to easily slide in your desired vise or tool and secure it in place with just a few turns of the knobs. The beauty of this system is that you can leave the docking station permanently mounted on your workbench, making it a breeze to quickly attach and detach your tools as needed. This is particularly useful for those who don't need to use their vise constantly but still want the convenience of having it readily available.

The Crossover Docking Station:

For those who require more flexibility in their work holding, the Crossover Docking Station might be the perfect solution. This version offers an additional 90-degree rotation, allowing you to position your vise or tool at various angles. This can be especially useful when working on specific projects that require you to access different areas of your workpiece. The increased articulation provided by the Crossover Docking Station can be a game-changer for those who need to manipulate their work in more complex ways.

The Number 6 Gunsmith Vice:

One of the standout products I've been testing is the Number 6 Gunsmith Vice from Total Vise. This impressive tool boasts an incredible level of articulation, with multiple points of adjustment that allow you to position your workpiece precisely where you need it. From adjusting the height to rotating and tilting the head, this vice gives you complete control over your work, making it an invaluable asset for gunsmiths and other precision-oriented professionals.

The Number 10 Craftsman Vice:

Another intriguing option is the Number 10 Craftsman Vice, which caught my eye with its similarities to a traditional pattern maker's vise. This vice features a swiveling pad on one side, allowing you to securely hold even the most unusual or irregularly shaped workpieces. Additionally, it offers a much wider opening capacity compared to the gun-specific vises, making it a versatile choice for a wide range of projects.

Integrating the Vises with Total Vise's Accessories:

To further enhance the functionality of these vises, Total Vise offers a range of accessories, including extension pedestals and tool holders. These accessories allow you to customize your workspace, elevating your tools to a comfortable working height and providing convenient storage solutions for your various tools and accessories.

As I continue to build out my new workshop, I'm excited to integrate these Total Vise products into my setup. The combination of the docking stations, articulated vises, and complementary accessories promises to provide me with unparalleled versatility and efficiency in my gunsmithing work. I can't wait to see how these tools will streamline my processes and help me take my craft to new heights.

If you're a fellow shooter, gunsmith or a professional in a related field, I highly recommend exploring the extensive offerings from Total Vise. Their commitment to innovation and user-centric design is evident in every product, and I'm confident you'll find the perfect solution to meet your specific needs. Stay tuned for more updates as I continue to integrate these remarkable tools into my workshop.
